The DonutArcade software is promoted as a Web-based alternative to platforms like Steam and Aeria Games, which offer a wide variety of games. The DonutArcade software is built on the Adobe Flash framework and might install a plug-in to your browser to enable its functionality. Computer users that wish to play 3D Tetris and Apotecharium can download the DonutArcade executable from Donutarcade.com and may notice it under the 'Advanced' and 'Custom' option of freeware packages. The DonutArcade software is similar to Playaneer in functionality and may install a browser extension to show promotional offers on your desktop. The DonutArcade program may prove to be annoying and may not provide access to the games that you feel attracted to. PC users should know that the free-to-play games on the DonutArcade platform are provided with the support of advertisers while premium titles are available to users that are subscribers.
The 'DonutArcade All Access' subscription may cost $20 a month and users may become subscribers by completing marketing surveys and allowing the DonutArcade program to show promotional materials on their new tab page and homepage. The DonutArcade software is perceived as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) with adware capabilities because of its propagation techniques and behavior. Moreover, the DonutArcade software may read the Meta tags of pages you open and ask users to connect their Facebook and Google account to the DonutArcade platform to benefit from extended subscriber status. The ads by DonutArcade may substitute the native ads on your favorite sites, and some users may receive a notification that they can not load content without removing the DonutArcade extension first. You can use a reputable anti-malware application to uninstall the DonutArcade software and delete its traces completely.
